  On the room /dinner / breakfast deal so you never get a very good room -was OK but in the roof space -and the hotel has no lift !!!! Disabled wheelchair lift to first floor is available tho. Evening meal was a rushed affair considering it wasn't busy -I sure our main course was made at the same time as the starter because it was like warm when it arrived . Service was lack lustre even though we had took the a la Carte option which costs more !!! I can't recommend it ! Bar area is good and not too overpriced. Breakfast on the other hand is a different affair -good choice of cereals / juice, pastries etc and a help your self cooked section with all the usual favourites. Overall OK but not good if you paid full price !

  Really Disappointing.
  The only reason they get 2 stars is the pleasant welcome, beautiful building and good shower.
  The bad bits are, no lifts, terrible outlook from the room, TV not working, beds only a Trappist monk would find comfortable, seriously the floor would have been more comfortable, and to add the icing to the cake, at about 6am a low level hum started reverberating in the room not loud, but really really annoying, could not get back to sleep, really did not expect this from a hotel of this quality.

  Rooms are clean n tidy and the WiFi and showers are great. The staff are friendly and attentive... we stayed on a special offer of 3 course dinner and breakfast... the dinner was very good but not massive (doesn't really need to be if u have 3 courses) and the breakfast is help yourself with a good selection... if we come this way again there's a good chance we would come back... good views and closer to Gloucester than I expected.

  In a beautiful location. I attended an interview hosted by the hotel. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Hotel well presented. There was a stepladder in one or the rooms we were using, apart from that a really good experience!
